Sabrina Adrian Organist - In Concert

There is no charge for these concerts as all concerts are funded through grants or private and corporate donations through mail, at the door, or through our website.

Sabrina Adrian - Performers Biography
Sabrina Adrian Organist In Concert

Dr. Adrian, organist and principal pianist at the 2,300-member Kerrville First United Methodist Church, will be the soloist at the concert. A student of the piano since she was seven, Dr. Adrian has an undergraduate degree in piano performance from Southwestern University in Georgetown, master’s degrees in organ and piano performance from the University of Texas in San Antonio and a Doctor of Music Arts from the University of Texas in Austin.

As organist at the First Presbyterian Church in San Antonio since moving to Kerrville First UMC in 2002, she has played in multiple Sunday worship and special services and concerts at two of the area’s largest congregations. Other church positions included Coker and Travis Park Methodist Churches in San Antonio and Westlake Presbyterian and Bethany UMC in Austin. She began playing at age 13 in her home church, the First UMC in Boerne.

Dr. Sabrina Adrian happily began as organist at Kerrville First United Methodist Church in September of 2002, after a five year tenure as organist at First Presbyterian Church in San Antonio, Texas. She has played organs around the world in Korea, Hungary, Austria, France, England, Scotland, and Texas Sabrina brings a wealth of experience, education and spirituality to our church music ministry. A United Methodist, Sabrina has also served as organist at Travis Park UMC, Bethany UMC in Austin, Coker UMC and Boerne UMC.

She holds degrees that include Bachelor of Music, piano performance from Southwestern University; Master of Music, organ performance, University of Texas at San Antonio; Master of Music, piano performance, University of Texas at San Antonio; and Doctorate in Musical Arts, Organ Performance from the University of Texas in Austin. She studied piano with Drusilia Huffmaster, Suzanne Widmar, Dr. Bess Hieronymus and Dr. Frank Speller. Sabrina has been a very active accompanist, playing for the San Antonio Choral Society, the New Texas Festival,the UT Concert Choir, the UT Early Music Ensemble and other instrumental and choral ensembles.
