Concert Pianist
Van Cliburn International Piano Competition
Korean classical pianist. Her awards include the Silver Medal at the 13th International Van Cliburn Piano Competition, in which she also received the Steven De Groote Memorial Award for the Best Performance of Chamber Music.As part of her prize package, Son received artist management from the Van Cliburn Foundation for three seasons following the competition and immediately embarked on an extensive tour across the United States and abroad. |

Jessica Mathaes Violin
Hailed by critics as “a master of the Khachaturian violin concerto” (Austin Chronicle) and “a violinist like no other” (The New York Times), awardwinning violinist Jessica Mathaes enjoys a multifaceted career as a soloist, recording artist, educator and concertmaster. Ms. Mathaes has appeared with orchestras throughout Europe and the United States including the Austin Symphony, the San Antonio Symphony, the Northwest Iowa Symphony, the Houston Grand Opera, the Houston Ballet, the Hot Springs Music Festival, the Colorado Music Festival, the Des Moines Metro Opera, the Symphony of Southeast Texas, the BismarckMandan Symphony, the Victoria Symphony, the Austin Civic Orchestra, the Astoria Symphony, the Round Rock Symphony, the Masterworks Festival Orchestra and the National Music Festival Orchestras. |

The Merling Trio Violin, Cello and Piano
Together more than 20 years, the Merling Trio features three top talents: violinist Renata Artman Knific, cellist Bruce Uchimura and pianist Susan Wiersma Uchimura. The group has performed across the country and around the world, including at New York's Carnegie Hall and with orchestras such as the English Chamber Orchestra, the Honolulu Symphony and the South Carolina Philharmonic. |

San Antonio Brass Quintet
South Texas premier brass ensemble
Comprised of some of the finest brass players in Texas, including the principal brass of the San Antonio Symphony, the San Antonio Brass has been South Texas's premier brass ensemble for over 25 years. Since its founding in 1982, the SAB has contributed to the cultural life of San Antonio, Bexar County and the state of Texas through its performances and educational programs. |

San Antonio Leiderkrantz German Chorale
The San Antonio Liederkranz was established in the summer of 1892 by the German Catholic immigrant congregation that had built St. Joseph's Church twenty years earlier. Under the auspices of the Reverend Henry Pfefferkorn, the choir was formed to beautify the German services and sing at the German festivals of the parish and community. The allmale choir has continued to sing Masses at St. Joseph's ever since, including Christmas Midnight Mass, Easter Mass, a German Mass of St. Joseph the Worker. and seven other Masses during the year.

Joel Fan Pianist
Pianist Joel Fan is one of the most dynamic and accomplished musicians performing before the public today. He is consistently acclaimed for his recitals, recordings, and appearances with orchestras throughout the world. His concerts attract a wide range of audiences, as he has eagerly embraced traditional piano literature as well as an eclectic range of repertoire, including new music commissioned especially for him, world music, and his own transcriptions.

We were blessed when we found you …
Never have I heard such fantastic music!!! Kay and Friends really outdid themselves. I was laughing, crying, calm and dancing! It would be hard to imagine a more delightful afternoon than was last Sunday.
I sang all the way home. What a lovely afternoon, to experience the many talents of Kay and Friends! I plan to share your schedule with all my friends.
I’m still humming and tapping my feet to the fabulous music. It was a program I’ll never forget. What a wonderful talent God gave them and they all seem to love sharing it with everyone! |
