Born in Shenzhen, Fei-Fei Dong gave her first recital at age ten; this was followed three years later by her orchestral debut with the Macau Youth Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Dong currently lives in New York. |

Rodica Gonzalez
Rodica Gonzalez was born in Bucharest, Romania, where she began her violin studies at the age of four. She gave her first concerto performance with the orchestra at the age of 11 while studying at the George Enescu Music School. At the age of 18, she enrolled in the Ciprian Porumbescu Conservatory in Bucharest. Rodica received her master's degree from the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University. Her mentors include Modest Iftinchi, Sergiu Luca, and Christoph Eschenbach. |

Mezzo Soprano
Mezzo Soprano Kathryn Findlen's collaborations place her at the forefront of new American concert repertoire. She has worked with Pulitzer Prize winning composers John Corigliano, John Harbison and Robert Ward, bringing their pieces to life on the concert stage. This season she will sing three pieces by Pulitzer Prize winner George Crumb, including the newest work for voice and piano "Sun and Shadow" which she will prepare with the composer. Future performances include Handel's Messiah with Austin Symphony, the University of Texas at Austin's Distinguished Artist Series with harpist Delaine Fedson, and the New York premiere of Ken Frazelle's Songs in the Rearview Mirror in Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall May 20, 2013. |

Violin
Violinist Kirsten Yon is currently in residence at the University of Houston where she is Associate Professor of Violin. Past engagements include serving as Associate Professor of Violin at Texas Tech University, a position she held for eight years.
An acclaimed teacher, performer, and clinician, she received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Michigan and the Cleveland Institute of Music before pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University.

Christine Albert's French grandmother lived in Paris and her mother was born in Switzerland, so she was surrounded by the French language and culture throughout her childhood. In a Santa Fe high school French class she discovered the music of Edith Piaf and the sounds of a Parisian caf began to show up in the music of this country/folk singer-songwriter. Throughout her career she has continued to move naturally and gracefully between the genres. |

The First Prize winner and the recipient of the Baroque Prize at the 11th San Antonio International Piano Competition in 2012, Lo-An Lin was born in Taipei, Taiwan. She has appeared in recitals in Seoul National Arts Center in Korea, National Recital Hall in Taipei, Taiwan, and†the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. Her performances have been broadcast on WQXR FM (New York), KPAC/KTXI Texas Public Radio, and ABC Classic FM (Australian Broadcasting Corporation National Radio). |
